If he knew what they were planning, Xingchen would have some reservations. This is his penance, his reminder of his failures towards Zichen. He doesn't know that he deserves to be absolved of his sins to the point of being given back his eyes.

But for now he is blissfully unaware as he enjoys that kiss to his temple and the close proximity of the other man. "I will be content with anything, you know I am not that particular about what I eat." And he doesn't want the other man to go through any difficulties on his part. He will be content with whatever it is that Zichen wants to eat.
