I see trouble coming, man...

Who: Geralt and Jon Snow; CLOSED
What: Boys be fighting
When: 06-07
Where: Tavern/Inn
Warnings: Physical violence, blood, all that comes from a bar fight

Without even paying much attention, Geralt felt an intensity in the room when he walked into it. He was there, as usual, to grab a bite and a cup of ale before saddling Roach up and heading out to deal with a "pest" problem at a farm near the northern tip of Vasari. After that, he planned to head south and hopefully explore things out that way.

Only it seems fate has other plans for the Witcher on that specific evening.

Murmuring his thanks after food is brought to him, Geralt tries his best to mind his own business while things start to unravel with a group of men over... who knows. What the Witcher does know is that things are about to get ugly. Fast.

And there goes a chair across the room.

All he had done was walk in the door.

One step in the door, just looking for some dinner, and there's a chair flying at his head. Well, in the direction of his head. At least it doesn't seem to be personal, since he doesn't know any of the men involved in the scuffle. So that's something. Also, he's lucky enough to get out of the way before the chair actually hits his head.

The proprietor scurries out from behind the bar to break up the fight, but he won't be able to do it alone. So, with a sigh, in goes Jon, to try and pull some of the men apart.

Jon has a vague idea that he's not alone in dealing with the brawl before he grabs one of the men by the back of the shirt and pulls him away before he can throw a punch. He muscles the man out of the door, back into the yard in front of the tavern, and closes the door on him before he can come back inside.

He'll probably pay for that one later, but at least at the moment there's one less combatant to worry about.

He's about to reach for someone else when he trips over a man on the floor and tumbles to the floor himself. That's when he catches the flash of silver hair. It's just enough to distract him momentarily, although luckily he does come back to his senses just in time to notice a chair coming at his head (on purpose this time) and roll away just before it hits.
