WHO: Emma Swan and YOU
WHEN: 6-25 onward
WHAT: Emma being Emma and moving on with her life
WHERE: All over
WARNINGS: None that I know of other than Merlin went home and she is processing.
Emma sighed as she pulled her jacket closer around her body. She really should be used to losing people by now, but losing Merlin had hit her like a punch to the stomach. They can never seem to stay in the same place for long, but Emma had a feeling they would meet again. A month had passed and Emma was feeling more like herself. She felt like she could see people and talk without losing her shit on someone.
She spends the morning walking around looking at various items in the shops and then in the afternoon, she stops by the tavern. She really needs something to occupy her time.

She's just making her way to her usual table in the back with a mug of ale when someone stumbles into her and she, in turn, stumbles into another woman.
"Sorry!" she yelps, doing her best to keep the ale from spilling over the both of them.

"It's packed in here, isn't it?"

"My apologies," she says, still looking mortified, "I wasn't paying proper attention. I didn't expect it to be quite so crowded tonight." Or the crowd to be quite so unruly and inattentive whether they are bowling other people over, anyway.

Today when he sees Emma at the tavern, he's not busy anymore and is enjoying a drink. So maybe they can finally have a conversation this time.
"There's a spot here," he offers, indicating a seat at his table. And this time, if any unexplained drinks show up, it still wasn't him.

"Hey, Stranger," Emma greeted. "How's it going?"

"It could definitely be worse. In fact, it's going pretty well."
