Bonfires, Drinks, and Tales

Drinking and merriment is almost second nature to Wuxian and he is easily entertained by the tales and more importantly the alcohol, even sharing tales of his own. Specifically of the the time he and Lan Wangji took down a terrible beast in their youth, waiting for hours before the awful thing had been slain.

"My prize for such a thing? Catching a fever and being sung to by a beautiful man I'm sure you've seen around! You couldn't miss such a beauty with golden eyes and wearing all white!"

Snow Fights

Once he tires of telling tales of triumph and adventure, he takes to the snow with a smile and wicked glee as he lobs snowball after snowball at any unsuspecting targets that may catch this eye. When one connects, there's a childlike cackling from him nearby, where most if not all sincerity of an apology shouted is lost in his fun. Shame is definitely not found here.

Shame for being drenched to the bone from the snow and icy waters is lacking, too, if pulled in and jumping out to go on a snowball throwing rampage at the guilty party.

Hot Springs (CLOSED to Wangji)

Now that he's tired of his fun, and dripping wet from the snow fights and taking a not so willing dip more than once into the frigid waters, he's scurried off to find his husband and drags him to one of those hot springs. The steam is enough to warm him, but he latches himself closely, soaked to the bone, against Wangji as he stares at the water.

"Come join me Lan Zhan! It's better than that cold pond back home!!" Demanding and whining, with a sneeze from being soaked and cold.

The cold is the point when you're quenching the fire, Wei Ying, but that's neither here nor there. Wangji shakes his head.

"Not too bad. For me." He is not going to be making his husband go into the cold spring, nor the icy pools here, either.

Wangji follows suit with the stripping down to where decency allows him, letting his hair fan out over his back so it doesn't attract too much attention, and steps easily with the pull on his wrist.

"I am here." He's coming, he's coming.

He puffs his cheeks in a pout, playfully glaring before shaking that off in his childishness. "You could live in the cold water and be fine! I guess being raised in Cloud Recesses came in handy, huh?"

No matter, he latches onto Wangji once both of them are in the water, cuddling himself as closely as he can.

"Lan Zhan? I've been thinking." A dangerous pastime for him sometimes, but this time not so much gremlining came from it. "Don't you think we should find a place of our own? I don't think we should keep disturbing the innkeepers each night."

Wangji is very much not making Wei Ying join him in the cold water - in fact, that had been xiongzhang's idea in the first place. Not that he would mind, but he knows his husband. "Cold spring helps focus. Improves cultivation."

That is why he is used to it.

But seeing, feeling Wei Ying relax as he is now, in the warm water, that is good, too.

He tilts his head slightly, listening, and then nods. "Mn. Did not think we would be here this long, but that would be good."

Good idea, yes. "Do you have one you like?"

"That's what everyone says back home, but it's still too cold!" Though he just curls himself closer, even more warmth in the already heated waters. Complaining isn't what he's dragged them here for.

"I didn't think we'd be here this long either, but it's... Nice." Xue Yang had been right after all, it's nice that people didn't flinch on hearing his name. He likes not being feared. He shakes his head, still unsure.

"We could look together, and save up for something. Or build one." He knows Wangji isn't going to like the next sentence, given who he's about to mention. "Since he hasn't been causing problems, maybe Xue Yang could help us find one?"
