WHO: Dean Winchester + Open
WHEN: December
WHAT: Arrival, finding pie
WHERE: Streets and then the inn
WARNINGS: Nothing more than language. Will update if this changes.
Dean was still trying to wrap his brain around this whole multiversal travel thing. It was a good thing that he was good with weird. What he didn’t expect was the extreme exhaustion that he felt. He spent some time resting up in his new home before he felt like it was time to go out and explore. He needed to see what he was dealing with and he needed to find a way to get out. Most importantly, he needed a beer and a burger.
He was fairly sure that his brother was here. Sammy would have reached out by now. Same with Cas. But if either of them felt the same way he had, they might be down for the count too. Dean hoped that he wouldn’t need it but he was never one to be unarmed, he put his gun in the back of his pants before he left his room at the inn.
Walking through the streets of the market, he kept awareness for his surroundings, always. It was second nature to him and something that was ingrained in him as a kid as his dad had trained him how to hunt. He took note of all of the different vendors, stopping to look at the various wares. This place was vastly different from what he was used to. If he wanted a pie or any equally unhealthy non-rabbit food, he’d just head to any grocery store and buy one. Here he had to visit different vendors and hope that they’d have what he was looking for. Not that he really minded as the pie that he saw in the bakery? Looked one thousand times better than anything he had ever tried before.
As he kept wandering, he made his way to the Inn where he saw more food than he could have ever wished for. More importantly, there was pie. "This must be what heaven feels like." He got himself a big plate full of food and one of pie and went to a table to start eating. All that he was missing was his beer, his brother and Cas.

He glanced over at the voice, giving a slight nod. "After feeling like a truck and a plane hit me all at the same time, I needed this." He took another forkful of food. "Besides, pie makes everything better. How long have you been here?"

He gets distracted from his thoughts at the question, "Not very long. Just a few weeks at this point. Long enough to understand a little of this place while still trying to get used to it all."

"I just got here myself. My brother and Cas are here too. I have to find them once I'm done here. What have you learned about this place so far?"
no subject
"There are monsters here that can be tricky to deal with, languages can be learned in minutes because of magic...and you shouldn't always trust the vendors on the street." Because they will take advantage of anyone who can't see.
