WHO: Xue Yang and open!
WHEN: Throughout May

Weekly Market: OPEN
Merlan isn't the only one of them to go out and sell various things they've made at the forge, or drop off deliveries of commissions. Xue Yang takes about half of what he makes from those commissions and spreads the coins out between food and anything else they end up needing for the house. But also tucks some aside. As a household they don't need all that much, but sometimes getting to spoil his daozhangs is a pleasure he allows himself.
Little things to help make their lives easier but also brighter or more comfortable.
And he likes being useful, those who have come to know him especially at market time have done wonders in helping welcome him, despite the initial (expected) wariness of any stranger. He's happy to chatter with anyone who looks like they might need something, even plop down somewhere and sketch something out or poke at designs. Sometimes he has his young wolf with him, the sweet creature sticks to his side and has learned not to bare his teeth at anyone unless he or Xue Yang seem threatened. But never attacks without permission.
Fishing: OPEN
Fishing for food is something he's started learning to do. But mostly it means he gets to play in the river! Which is something he's coming to enjoy as the weather warms, and he gets to be surrounded with the various animals he's taken in or bought - the young wolf and tiny squirrel to name two, and he lets his stallion stomp out some of his zoomies - the other two horses too, if his daozhangs aren't using them or have joined him! He has a bucket (half full of water) for fish he's caught, boots plopped to one side as he waits. He even has a hat to break the sun's glare, though it's a silly thing that makes him laugh whenever he spies his reflection in the water under his feet.
Training + Meditating:
Even when he's not learning directly under Song Lan or Xiao Xingchen's attention, Xue Yang tends to work through the forms he's been learning. He loves getting to be taught properly. And he feels he's improving - at least his husband says his core is stronger and brighter now, and he can feel it. He still prefers to meditate with either of his daozhangs, but is better able to do it alone now that he's had a solid year of practice.
Vasari Forest: OPEN with potential injuries if you want to go that route :3
Just because he primarily works at the forge with Merlan doesn't mean he doesn't still venture into the forest at times. There are just some beasts that need dealt with so paths remain safe, and he figures he and his daozhangs (and Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji) are best at handling them. So he does his best not to go alone on such outings, his husband fusses so hard when he gets hurt that he tries to avoid going alone when he knows he'll be in danger. Even if that fussing is cute and warms him right up as he gets patched up.
He just...sometimes...still manages to get hurt. Oops?
Hot springs: Mostly closed to castmates
Ever since the hot springs had been revealed, Xue Yang likes to make use of them every so often and soak off the worst of any lingering soreness in the steaming waters. It's just more fun with company! So he tends to grab the hand of whoever he happens to find at home and tug them into riding to the springs with him, teasing and cajoling them until they join him.

He moans shamelessly as Zichen grinds their hips together and those lips mark his throat. The question makes him laugh and wiggle with a happy grin. "I like how you warm me up," he purrs.

His eyebrows rise and he flips their positions, pressing his lover against the bed. Then he initiates a tender kiss, memorizing that happy grin through touch and taste.
"You're mine. I will only share you with our Xingchen, but what we have is special on its own, A-Yang."

The flip has him laugh and he wraps his legs around his husband's waist, unconcerned as the water of the hot springs lap over them. He won't drown. His Zichen won't allow that to happen. The sweetness of that kiss has him melting into it with a sigh.
"Mmm..." He smiles and nudges their noses together. "I belong to both of you and no one else."

"You taught me...how to touch." he murmurs breathlessly, "You taught me that there is no fear in it. I belong to you, A-Yang, and to Xingchen. No one else."

Xue Yang delights in hearing how breathless his husband is - because of him! He sprinkles water over the other's back, smoothing it over the muscles he loves to explore.
"You took the time to teach me. And you haven't gone back on your word, even when you could have." After he'd told his husband everything he's done. He'd expected to be kicked out immediately.
Not tugged back into warm, safe arms.
He wiggles his hips and kisses his beloved again. "You brought a gremlin in from the cold, A-Lan, now you should take care of him~"

It doesn't make sense to him and he cups his husband's cheek against his palm, parting his lips when they kiss again. The tease is met with a small grin and Zichen dips a hand into the water, stroking his lover's cock.
"I know how to care for him."

He smiles lovingly and leans into that hand as he continues to undulate his hips a little, rubbing purposely against his husband before a familiar hand wraps around him, drawing a low groan from his throat.
Only to laugh, a little breathless at the delightful answering tease. "You take very good care of me, A-Lan. Always."

But Xue Yang is special. Those strong hands of his are gentle with him and when he touches his husband, he smiles at the groan he earns. Clearly his callused fingers and palm are not disliked!
"It's my honor to love you, A-Yang." Zichen strokes his mischievous husband and draws him into a loving kiss, "Stay with me and we can always have this."

He lets his hips rock into that perfect hand, little gasps and mewls of pleasure spurring his beloved on as he's pulled into that kiss. "I don't want to go anywhere!" Never. Not without Zichen and Xingchen.
