WHO: Wen Kexing
WHEN: June
WHAT: Intro things, exploring, that kind of thing!
WHERE: Gazin and probably the surrounding areas
WARNINGS: Anything with Zishu will probably end up either fighting or smut because that's how they roll!
Market:
Walking down the path into Gazin, being introduced to a whole new language...interesting! He only has eyes for one person though on his travels, listening for word of his A-Xu. It's a little warm for his comfort, and he wonders if everything will only backfire. The fan he always carries is open and gently wafting up at his face, free arm tucked at his back as he walks without any sense of hurry. Any who see past the fan will find a young face, contrasting the long white hair, and a slight smirk as if everything amuses him. And, well. It does. All these people! A city!
It's been a while. He doesn't sample anything, only looks as that fan moves gently, tirelessly. If stopped, he'll even smile! But otherwise, listening is just as informative. What cultures are here...
Various shops in Gazin:
Time can slip away, as he knows. Each shop he comes across will get paid a visit, especially the apothecary and Inn. The former to put out feelers for what might do him and Zishu good, a method of healing that even Ye Baiyi's technique and their experimentation in the aftermath wouldn't complete. Oh, it's enough. Was enough where they're from. But Gazin isn't there, and finding a proper place cold enough is a challenge - inconvenient.
Who knows what can be found here? He chats up the workers in each place, charming and cheerful with silly anecdotes and lines from stories that he feels appropriate (even if others might not understand it). And the Inn has him check out the rooms, wondering which will work best.
Vasari
He would be remiss not to check out the local spooky forest, though he has at least borrowed a horse for the trip - just in case he needs a quick escape. And he has the money for it, so why not?

"Hunting as well as selling herbs and medicines, especially to the druid, would likely bring decent coin. If you go where few go, you would be able to bring more rare items. Should be doable."
He considers for a moment.
"One option is very powerful cold source, cold dissipating as it goes out. Possible, less efficient. Other source, isolate inside and outside, create less powerful sources to bring cold.
"Reversing braziers in a closed house. Better closed, more temperature kept in."
And a house would require doors, and, perhaps, locks.
As to the gratitude, he inclines his head slightly. "When done, then debt can be considered." And likely discarded, because this place takes and gives too suddenly.

As for the spell - Kexing hums, gaze lowering a little as he thinks seriously on it. "The better the cold can be kept in, the safer for the surroundings. We wouldn't want to risk harming others just to preserve our lives - we can live just as happily in the mountains if we must." But he finds he'd like to spend more time with this Lan Wangji, without having rush about worrying about staying fed.
He grins at the mention of debt to be collected later. "Of course. Any time."
