WHAT: It’s that time of year, Fall is in the air, the trees are changing, and Gazin is celebrating Harvest! Below you will find celebrations and prompts for your consideration.

Catfe Gerdri
A small cafe opened its doors onto its friendly little street. Inside it was selling hot drinks with funny names to make its clientele laugh for the season. There were pumpkin drinks and apple drinks, drinks made with coffee, drinks made with tea but the real draw was its cats. There were cats of all sizes and all needed to be pet and loved on. They were even autumn colours; creams and whites, gingers and deep browns. Some of them were up for adoption and had little red collars on with little golden bells. They looked fancy and neat and ready to travel.

In the cool autumn air, come in for a hot drink, meet fellow travellers, and stay for the fabulous company of Mrs Gerdri’s cats. If you’re looking for a job, the cat lady herself is hiring! Must love cats.

Harvest Festival
Gather around! It’s that time of year of harvest and merriment that no other season can do just right! It’s the Harvest Festival in Gazin, of course! There’s games and prizes to be won, music and laughter, magic to be seen, and all sorts of harvest foods to be had. Try some cake, have some bread, make something magical for a friend!

Whatever you choose, leave room for dancing because Gazin sure goes all out with spectacle and music and their finest of beers. There’s something for everyone at the Harvest Festival, which will run for six weeks before it’s done.

Gazin’s Shield Day
Lan Wangji, Wei Wuxian, Xue Yang, Wen Kexing, Zhou Zishu, Merlan O’Keefe and many other locals have been busy for quite some time working on a citywide shielding project for Gazin. On this day, they’re making it official with the revealing of the project in its final state. It’s enough of an accomplishment that it’s become a bonafide celebration in itself. There will be a magic fireworks display as well as festivities. With so many talented magic users in on this feat, its success is assured.

Monsters beware, Gazin is now officially protected!

Zishu is melting into each kiss, each nuzzle, willing to give his beloved anything. Everything. His hands lower to hold onto Kexing's hips, possessive in their grip.

"Maybe you will get one, Lao Wen. I do love you more than life itself."

He doesn't mind being led away, though he does call their puppy to follow them.

Anything and everything. Always. Just the two of them. Kexing settles under that possessive grip and kisses Zishu's ear again.

"I love you too, my A-Xu."

Once they're away from the music, he stops the dancing and claims one of his husband's hands to hold as they walk home. He beams when Zishu calls their puppy to their side again. No one left behind. No one forgotten.

He gives a shiver and chuckles, entwining their fingers as they walk side by side. The puppy is eager to join them, beaming as he runs to catch up. Zishu pauses just long enough to rub over a pair of soft ears.

"Good boy."

No. No one is ever left behind. He leans against Kexing as they walk.

"We should carve pumpkins."

When Zishu pauses, Kexing does too and also rubs over the puppy's soft ears, smiling approvingly down at the good pup.

Starting to walk again, he relinquishes his husband's hand to wrap his arm around Zishu's waist. The suggestion has him grinning, curiosity clear in his eyes.

"Is that what you want to do?" Obviously it is, so he tightens his hold on his husband's waist. "How big a pumpkin do you want to get?"

The puppy barks proudly and then wiggles onto the path leading home. He has toys to find and games to play!

Zishu smiles and slips his arm around Kexing's waist in return. He peers into his beloved's beautiful eyes and grins to himself.

"Yes." he lays his head on his husband's shoulder, "Mm I would like one that is big enough for a proper carving. I have an idea."

How is he possibly supposed to resist leaning in and kissing his husband when Zishu looks at him like that? He can't! So he doesn't~ Then rests his head against the top of his husband's, holding him just a little tighter as he guides them down the path to their home.

Only to pause and nuzzle Zishu's hair a little. "We should get the pumpkin first before going home, A-Xu."

If that's really what his soulmate wants, then that's what they'll just have to do.

He can't! Zishu is begging for a kiss, obviously, and he grins when he is given what he wants. He certainly doesn't have any complaints over being held so close either. His Lao Wen is incredibly romantic~

"Mm you're right." he pauses too and turns back to find where the pumpkins are being grown. He steps over to the patches and smiles at the great orange gourds. After deliberating, he picks up a large pumpkin that requires both of his arms to lift.

"This one will do~"

Of course he gets what he wants! Zishu is his everything. And Kexing likes holding and kissing him~

Speaking of kisses, he claims another one before letting his husband go, though he stays close. The size of the pumpkin Zishu picks makes him chuckle. "Do you want to get a second one?" If so, he will just have to steal that big pumpkin from his beloved so Zishu can get the second pumpkin of his desire!

His lips tingle and he feels alive as he picks up the big pumpkin. The chuckle makes him grin and he tilts his head at the offer. A second...?

For their animals. He nods and points out a smaller gourd. If his beloved would be so kind to lift that one? He can manage the big one! Actually he seems quite satisfied to hug the pumpkin.

"Our puppy needs one."

He likes kissing his husband perhaps a bit too much! Not that that'll ever stop him. Stroking a hand down Zishu's back, he blinks over at the smaller pumpkin and huffs, giving his beloved a knowing look that is far too soft to be at all upset or scolding.

"As my husband wishes," he murmurs, and moves over to scoop up the gourd before paying for their purchases. "Let's go home and carve these to your wishes."

What? The little pumpkin is adorable! Zishu grins, unapologetic, and flushes at those sweet words.

"Am I taking advantage of you?" he queries, voice lowering as they walk home, "I'll make it up to you. I know how to take your breath away, Lao Wen."

And it has nothing to do with carving pumpkins.

It is! Just as his husband is.

His heart skips a beat at the promise and Kexing can only gaze fondly at him. Oh, he could say Zishu isn't taking advantage of him.

But it doesn't matter. "I like how you take my breath away," he murmurs, eyes bright with anticipation.

Zishu nudges their shoulders together, grinning from ear to ear. He couldn't love his husband more and yet, every day, he seems to do just that.

"I can't believe how lucky I am." he sees those bright eyes and sighs, "I'm going to make your legs turn to jelly. Be prepared."

Slipping into their house, humming to himself as he sets the pumpkin on a large table, he turns back towards his mate.

Every day is another day together.

Kexing feels those words melt his heart all over again, and he chuckles, already a little breathless at the promises that keep piling up.

"Be sure that you do, A-Xu."

He sets the smaller pumpkin beside the much larger one before stepping close to his beloved, gazing into his eyes. Then smiles, just a little, and leans in to let their noses nudge together before murmuring; "I'm ready." To be turned into jelly~

"I've never lied to you." and he won't start! Zishu dusts his hands off when the pumpkins are set aside and then grins, heatedly, into Kexing's eyes. He grabs his beloved around his waist and hurries him to their bedroom. Then he draws him into a slow kiss, building the passion bit by bit. His tongue teases and his hands are hardly idle. He loosens Kexing's robes and hums, his eyes falling closed.

"I know." Not where it matters. Not since Zishu accepted they are meant to be together.

Kexing also dusts his hands off, then laughs as he's grabbed and dragged to their bedroom. He happily hums into the kiss he's pulled into, letting his husband decide the pace. His hands are just as busy, working on Zishu's robes to get them off as their kisses heat and build the passion between them up.

Withholding information is technically a lie, yes, and Zishu hasn't done that since he accepted his feelings for his gorgeous Lao Wen.

He closes their bedroom door behind them with his foot, practically pouncing on Kexing for a deep kiss. Glee fills him from head to toe and he moans, opening his beloved's robes eagerly. His hands caress the beautiful sculpted chest beneath and he breaks the kiss with a seductive smirk.

"Having trouble?"

Ever since they'd started exchanging energy to stay alive together, Kexing hasn't kept anything from his beloved. He won't start now.

He laughs a little at the pounce and melts a little into the kiss. He feels those hands skillfully work on his robes and moans under the hands as they drift over his chest. He nips playfully at a lip and smirks, fingers finally finishing with the ties hiding his beloved's beautiful body from him so he can push them over those shoulders and off.

"Only because you aren't inside me yet."

He mimics Kexing a split second later, ridding his beloved of those robes so he can lay kisses on the gorgeous body beneath. He starts with the curve of Kexing's neck, biting onto his shoulder and sucking until the skin bruises. They both know his body is covered in scars, so why shouldn't he give his Lao Wen a few to match?

Though they will be caused...pleasurably, of course.

"Fetch the oil." he loosens his trousers teasingly, letting them fall low on his hips, revealing that isn't wearing any undergarments. Not today.

He shrugs off those robes and sighs as his beloved's hands (and lips!) move over his body. The bite and suck make him gasp and arch, head tilting back in blatant offer. He'll wear each mark proudly!

Kexing chuckles at the order and leans in to press a soft kiss over his husband's heart before pulling back to saunter over to where they keep the oil. That hint is more than enough to make his body sing in anticipation!

Fetching the jar, he sprawls out on their bed, a leg bending to place a bare foot flat on the mattress as he smirks over at his soulmate. His free hand teases at the tie to his trousers.

Zishu can be soft one moment and demanding in the next. He loves marking his beloved and seeing those bruises later. His lips nuzzle and soothe any ache and he gives Kexing a matching mark on his other shoulder. His message is clear: this one is mine.

Eyes closing briefly at the kiss, he smiles gently. But then he watches his beloved, caught between arousal and amusement. He laughs breathlessly and joins Kexing on the bed, pouncing on top of him. Zishu claims those smirking lips in a heated kiss and slips a hand inside of Kexing's trousers.

Both sides are welcome. Kexing is entirely Zishu's. Even a flash of discomfort, in the face of those marks standing out so perfectly against his pale skin, is worth it to wear that claim.

Kexing grins at that laugh and pulls his beloved down on top of him when he's pounced. He presses happily into that demanding kiss, lips yielding to another claim, and rocks up into that questing hand.

He doesn't care if he's being silly. Not if his soulmate laughs and likes it. Nothing matters as long as his Zishu is with him, alive and happy.

The oil is grabbed from Kexing's hand and Zishu breaks their dizzying kiss, panting. He tugs down his lover's trousers and them shimmies out of his own. In order to fully remove the garments, he has to lift up, but he makes up for it, pressing their hips together insistently. He rocks against his Lao Wen and kisses him again, sucking on his lips and licking at his tongue.

"I want you."

When doesn't he? Zishu smiles heatedly and takes off the cap to the oil and coats his fingers in it.

"Spread your legs."

He's panting right along with his beloved and wiggles free of his trousers before groaning softly as Zishu rubs against him - of course he responds in kind! Kexing hums into the next kiss before his cheeks pink happily at those words.

It doesn't matter that they're always eager for each other. He laughs at the order but happily obeys, legs bent and spread, gaze dark with lust and love and fixed on Zishu.

"Claim me, A-Xu. I'm yours."

"I cherish that above all else." Zishu murmurs, drawing abstract patterns with the oil on Kexing's chest, teasing his nipples and tickling around his bellybutton, "I love you like that, Lao Wen. You're ready to give everything to me and it makes me feel greedy."

His lips follow the oil trail, licking at Kexing's nipples and nuzzling his bellybutton. He then sets his sights on those beautiful thighs, kissing and sucking on the skin, taking his time.
